Prime95 I've seen 85-90 and a peak at 92C. a Furmark CPU test last night I went straight to 78 then up to 83 and held at 83 for 15 mins. 3 hours of 100% load encoding has me at 75-80C. When running games I'm in the low to mid 70s.
My 7700k is at 4.8ghz at 1.304 right now according to the BIOS. What temps are you getting with the i7 7700k? This summer, in my new house, i'll keep the game room at a solid 62 degrees F the whole summer, so those number should come down significantly. It got up to 68 degrees, which I am pretty confident about. I ran Prime95 Blend test for 4 hours in a room that was 75 degrees F. TRClark911 TheAverageJoe93 I got my i7 6700k to 4.75 GHz at 1.302 V on my H60 cooler. End of the day those numbers will amount to 3-5fps at the most and wont really be stable for hardcore gaming. I'm happy with what I did on the first run. I'm pretty confident I can push it a bit further once I add water.
I'd wager the temps have a lot to do with it and as said I plan on installing the AIO when it's available. But i think the main difference here would be coming from the WC.Ĭool thanks! Not too worried much about Windows. The 6 core does help a bit, but not too much these days.
